Professor Seun Kolade
Professor Seun Kolade is a Professor of Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation at Sheffield Business School, Sheffield Hallam University. He has previously held research and leadership roles at several UK institutions, including De Montfort University, Loughborough University London, and London South Bank University. He is also a Visiting Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Ibadan. With a background in engineering, his interdisciplinary research spans digital transformation, circular economy, transformative entrepreneuring, and SME strategies in turbulent environments. A Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and Certified Management and Business Educator (CMBE), he is also a UK Council for Graduate Education (UKCGE) Recognised Research Supervisor and a PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP). He is a COREN-registered engineer and a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers. Professor Kolade has published over 90 academic outputs, including journal articles, books, and policy reports. He has led numerous funded research projects and consulted for international organisations such as the British Council and the United Nations. He is Associate Editor for Technology Analysis and Strategic Management and Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences. A serial entrepreneur, he founded Enterprise Republic and leads the DEFINED project, driving digital transformation and economic development in Africa.
Dr Tunmise Ayodele
Dr. Tunmise Ayodele is a dynamic entrepreneur with expertise in agribusiness, research, and retail across Nigeria, Europe, and the U.S. He is the CEO of Enshet Group, MD of Elan League International Ltd (UK), Partner at En-Large Financial Institution, and Co-founder of Five root Ltd
He has led Enshet Crop Solution Ltd in cultivating 1,300+ hectares of cassava, establishing a processing plant in Ekiti State, and exporting garri to the UK, Germany, and the U.S. His expertise spans agro-processing, logistics, and consulting across the agro-value chain.
A Ph.D. holder in Architecture and Sustainable Development, Dr. Ayodele has presented at international forums, including the African Investment Forum, where he outlined Enshet Farms’ $2.5M cassava project. He has facilitated over $50M in agricultural supply contracts and built a strong network of global distributors.
Committed to Nigeria’s growth, he invests in agriculture across Ekiti, Ondo, and Kogi. A former Majority Leader of the Ekiti State Youth Parliament, he remains active in civic affairs. At 35, he continues to drive sustainable agriculture, economic development, and youth empowerment in Nigeria and beyond.
Dr Abiodun Egbetokun
Dr. Abiodun Egbetokun combines a background in engineering with advanced degrees and extensive experience in the foundations of successful innovation and entrepreneurship.
He was, until recently, a Deputy Director of Research at the National Centre for Technology Management in Nigeria. In that role, he made inputs regularly to policy debates in Nigeria and beyond, helping governments and organisations understand how to drive enterprise growth and innovation.
Since 2010, he has contributed to several high-level impact-oriented plans, policies and programmes, including Nigeria’s Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) policy, the African Union’s Accelerated Industrial Development of Africa (AIDA) and UNIDO’s Africa Strategy.
Abiodun was President (2019-2021) of the Nigerian Young Academy and held a Science Advice for Policy Fellowship of the US National Science Foundation (NSF) in 2019. He serves on the Board of the Pure Youth Organisation, an international youth development charity. He currently teaches business management at De Montfort University in Leicester.
Dr Adebowale Adeyeye
Adebowale Adeyeye is a doctor of Agribusiness management and Value chain optimisation in turbulent economies. He is a Fellow of Higher Education Academy (FHEA) UK. He has worked in several business, policy, institutional and infrastructural development sectors across the globe, focusing on optimisation, processing, packaging, export, capital raise, rural infrastructure development, value chains, re-afforestation and sustainable agricultural practices, trade and logistics. He championed several trade, research and fact-finding missions in different sectors; consulting and advising governments at sub-national and national levels. His core research and interests focus on works that can help improve the performance and livelihood of smallholder farmers. His Agribusiness investments cover commodities like cashew, cocoa, coffee, ginger, tea, oil seeds, grains and tubers.
He founded a few companies, some of which are Creativo el Matador, ELAN League international, DRIFT, started the TARGAM initiative, and also co-founded a few which include Solstice height global, Naxos logistics, 2412 media co. He sits on the board of several African, American, Asian and European companies and organisations, providing advisory and support roles.
Since inception in 2016, his foundation, WAF, has directly supported over 30,000 people across Africa, supporting them in areas of educational fulfilment, sport and rural enterprise.
Dr Francis Awolowo
Dr. Francis Awolowo is a distinguished scholar, educator, and advocate for equity in higher education. He is a Senior Lecturer in Financial and Management Accounting at Sheffield Hallam University. Francis is the Principal Investigator and Project Lead of the Accomplished Study Programme in Research Excellence (ASPIRE), a groundbreaking initiative funded by OfS/UKRI to support Black scholars in accessing doctoral education. His research spans forensic accounting, audit failures, occupational fraud, and race and ethnicity in higher education. He is a sought-after speaker who delivers anti-racist workshops across the UK, shaping institutional policies and fostering inclusive learning environments.
Dr Debo Owoseni
Dr. Debo Owoseni is a Senior Lecturer in Information Systems at De Montfort University’s School of Computer Science and Informatics. Prior to joining academia in 2019, he had a distinguished 13-year career in the financial services industry, leading various digital transformation projects. His research focuses on digital transformation, digital innovation, and the societal and ethical implications of digital technologies, particularly in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), fintech, higher education, and marginalized communities. Dr. Owoseni emphasizes the responsible use of digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, to align digital initiatives with global sustainability objectives, supporting UN Sustainable Development Goals such as Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8), Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17
Dr. Bridget Irene
Dr. Bridget Irene is a distinguished academic, researcher, and advocate for women’s empowerment, particularly in entrepreneurship and sustainable development. Currently serving as a Senior Lecturer in Business Management at De Montfort University, UK, Dr. Irene specialises in gendered entrepreneurship, sustainability, and innovation in the Global South.
Her work focuses on amplifying the voices of women, addressing systemic barriers, and promoting inclusive policies that drive economic growth and social equity. Her recent studies explore critical themes such as entrepreneurial education, energy poverty, and the intersection of gender and sustainability in Sub-Saharan Africa.
A Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, Dr. Irene combines academic rigour with practical insights. Her leadership and dedication to advancing women’s roles in entrepreneurship have been recognised globally.
Professor Amos Fatokun
Professor Amos Fatokun is currently Professor of Pharmacology and Neuroscience at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), UK, where he leads a team of researchers working to understand, at the finest level, the causes of diseases such as cancers and neurodegenerative conditions, and ultimately develop more efficacious and safer medicines to treat them.
He has led several externally funded research projects, published over 100 journal articles, book chapters and abstracts; and supervised many PhD students, postdocs and visiting researchers from all over the world. He teaches on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and is a Fellow of the Higher education Academy (FHEA).
He is a previous recipient of prestigious international research fellowships and has worked at leading institutions, including the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, USA; the University of Sydney, Australia; and the Universities of Glasgow, Nottingham and Bradford in the UK.
Professor Fatokun is a Fellow of the British Pharmacological Society and the Royal Society of Chemistry, and has received awards/prizes and recognitions for excellence in research, scientific communications, public dissemination of science, and diversity and inclusion.
He is a Consultant to the British Council, a Staff Governor on LJMU Board of Governors, and a member of other Boards.
Mr Oluwafemi Adeleke

Beyond his consulting practice, Oluwafemi actively contributes to the advancement of Digital Technology and Information Security through peer reviewed publications, the development of exam questions for leading professional certifications, and the review of examination preparatory manuals in Cyber Security, Data Protection, and AI Security. Dr. Toyin Aderiye
Dr. Bukola Fatokun
Dr. Bukola Fatokun is a seasoned Lecturer in International Business Management within Liverpool Business School, Faculty of Business and Law at Liverpool John Moores University. She earned her Doctorate in Business & Management, and currently teaches on the MSc Management Programmes. She has worked and lived in four continents and has experience with charitable organisations in the US and the UK. She has volunteered for NGOs such as Include-IT Mersey (LCR) as a Digital Inclusion Tutor. She is currently module leading Managing Business Research for MSc Management, and MSc Management and Digital Business students. She has won many awards and has extensive experience in the areas of postgraduate student support and inclusivity projects. She is an author, a mentor and also a role model. She is the founder of DAIS, an initiative aimed to provide the right platform, scholarship and literacy opportunity for the promising but less privileged secondary school students in Nigeria.
Dr Fola Bolaji
Dr Fola Bolaji is an accomplished solution architect with an impressive range of skills and experience in the fields of computer science, engineering, networking, programming, entrepreneurship, and cybersecurity. With over 22 years of practical experience in the computing industry, Fola’s expertise is highly sought after. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer & IT from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, USA, where he conducted rigorous research into the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity. Currently, Fola is the manager of cybersecurity at Apiphani, an Managed Service Provider (MSP) located in the great state of Massachusetts, USA. In his prior engagements, Fola had the privilege of lecturing at reputable universities in Nigeria for approximately 8 years before relocating to USA for his Ph.D. and better opportunities. His exceptional work ethic, professionalism, and goal-oriented mindset make him an excellent addition to any business or institution.
Mr. Julius Irene
Mr Julius Irene is a Senior Researcher at the Transformative Innovation Africa Hub (TIAH) in the United Kingdom. With a background in geology, he has evolved into an interdisciplinary scholar specializing in sustainability transitions, energy social science, and socioenvironmental studies. His research focuses on energy transition dynamics and their policy implications, particularly in the Global South, aiming to contribute to transformative solutions for sustainable development. His work bridges science, technology, and innovation (STI) with policy, fostering equitable and impactful interventions in energy and environmental governance.
Dr. Darasimi Oshodi
Dr. Darasimi Oshodi currently teaches at Global Banking School in Manchester, where he leads modules in Academic Skills, Research Methods, and Health and Social Care. His leadership experience spans both educational and community settings. He oversees three key modules at work and co-leads a unit at his church, where he is responsible for around thirty members alongside his co-leads.
In addition, he serves as a member of the Board of Trustees at another church in Manchester, contributing to strategic decision-making and organisational development. He is passionate about research, particularly in areas that promote equality and social development. He also engages with social issues by facilitating discussions on social media and organising events that bring people together to exchange ideas.
Dr. Ayodeji Ibitoye
Dr. Ayodeji Ibitoye is a dedicated Facilitator and Researcher at the University of Greenwich, London, where he shapes the future of tech innovation and education. With robust leadership experience, he previously served as Director of Digital Services and Acting Head of Department at premier Nigerian universities, spearheading transformative digital initiatives. His extensive expertise in machine learning, data science for social good, computer vision, and responsible AI aligns with ATL’s vision of reimagining the world as a more equal and just place through transformational leadership. Passionate about empowering Black professionals, Ayodeji actively mentors emerging tech leaders and consults for corporate organisations. He contributes to ATL’s mission by engaging in monthly network meetings, skill development workshops, and strategic projects that promote education and support civil society, driving impactful change across sectors.
Engr. Shina Awopeju
Engr. Shina Awopeju is a professional photographer and media personality. He is the Deputy Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ekiti State Chapter, where he actively champions youth empowerment, leadership development, and skill acquisition.
Previously, he served as the Chairman of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Ekiti State Chapter, representing and advocating for students’ interests. His leadership in this role earned him recognition as one of the most impactful student leaders in recent times.
With a strong commitment to youth development, he has been involved in various initiatives aimed at equipping young people with relevant skills in leadership, entrepreneurship, and digital innovation. His work aligns with ATL’s mission of fostering innovation and economic growth by empowering young talents to become productive members of society.

Dr. Fikayo Taiwo
Dr. Fikayo Taiwo is a lawyer called to the Nigerian Bar and a lecturer at the University of Essex Law School with primary research interests in civil justice systems and reform. She conducts research in judicial approaches to ADR and the impact of these on access to justice. She is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) teaching Contract Law and International Dispute Resolution at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. As Fikayo is committed to educational excellence, she actively seeks approaches for imbibing an excellent spirit in students both in and out of her classes. Several of the students who have actively engaged with Fikayo during their academic journeys have proceeded to graduate with excellent results.
Mr Joshua Olufemi
Mr Joshua Olufemi is the founder of Dataphyte, a data and technology company that provides data access and technology solutions for public, private, and third-sector organisations across Africa. He has pioneed various initiatives that have mentored hundreds of young professionals in the media, data, and civic technology sectors.
Over the past 10 years, Joshua has dedicated himself to building a community of practice centered around media development, data science, civic technology, and innovation, through initiatives like Campus Reporter Africa, Dataphyte Academy, and the Dataphyte Innovation Hub.
He has led various team at several organisations, including Dataphyte, Cenetre for Media and Society, Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) and Nigeria Leadership Initiative, to create or coordinate initiatives such as Anfani, Goloka, Nubia, and Dubawa, UdemeNG – that promote youth advocacy and civic engagement.
Joshua serves on the board of organisations focused on democracy and socioeconomic development initiatives, including social justice, youth advocacy, governance, and policy reforms.

Dr. Adebukola Dada is a Christian Black research scientist at Purdue University whose work in soil science advances sustainable solutions for food security, soil fertility, and conservation. Her research directly addresses critical global challenges, aligning with ATL’s mission of transformational leadership and collective impact. Previously, Dr. Dada served as the Soil Health Community Leader within the American Society of Agronomy, where she facilitated networking, training, and resource-sharing among scientists and practitioners. Her leadership fostered collaboration and knowledge exchange, reflecting ATL’s emphasis on community building and professional growth. Passionate about mentorship, Dr. Dada integrates faith with academic and career development, empowering young scientists to excel while nurturing their spiritual growth. Mr. Damilola Owolabi
Dr. Olapeju Ogunmokun
Dr. Olapeju Ogunmokun is a lecturer and researcher at the Leicester Castle Business School, De Montfort University, Leicester. She is a Fellow of the Association of International Accountant FAIA(Acad), a Full Member of the Association of Accounting Technician (MAAT) and a Chartered Accountant (ACMA, CGMA) all of which are reflected in her scholarship and research. Olapeju has a distinction in Accounting and Business Management from Brunel University London and was awarded the doctoral research prize for her Ph.D. in Finance, Risk and Entrepreneurship at De Montfort University. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and has substantial experience in coordinating accounting, finance and business management programmes, supervising post graduate research and teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Olapeju is research active and drawing from her extensive career experience in industry, is committed to widening and continuing access to impactful education through community engagement and business consultancy.

Dr. Adedamola Lawanson
Dr. Adedamola Lawanson is a civil servant in a major government sector in the United Kingdom. Prior to his appointment in the United Kingdom, he served in academia for many years as a lecturer in a federal institution in Nigeria, specializing in Animal Science. His leadership experience spans several sectors, including serving as Head of Departments and units in both official and religious settings. His sphere of influence includes working with students, youths, and teenagers, both in the church and within the wider society. He also played an active role in community policing as a supernumerary Chief Superintendent of Police in Nigeria. He is passionate about supporting students at various levels and coordinates young adults through accountability groups and capacity-building initiatives. Many individuals have been financially empowered and trained to become self-reliant through his support. He not only challenges others to pursue greatness but also leads by example.

Dr. Ekhoerose Valentine Onaiwu is researcher in pharmaceutical nanotechnology and drug delivery systems. He is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Leicester School of Pharmacy, De Montfort University, Leicester, United Kingdom. Dr E V Onaiwu is the author of the book: ‘Global Genetic Terror’, a book that x-rays the novel coronavirus, its impact on healthcare delivery systems as well as an outlook on post-pandemic global health. He has co-authored several other research journal publications. His most recent innovations and technological development has found recognition in the pharmaceutical industries. He is a practical life coach, a renowned strategist, an excellent trainer, mentor and also Research Director of the Africa Industrialization Group, who has been a lead at several conferences and masterclasses for industry professionals across Europe and Africa, helping participants develop new facets for innovative thinking as well as novel paradigm for research and sustainable business development across various industry settings.
Dr. Emmanuel Mogaji
Dr. Ibukunolu David Babarinde
Dr. Ibukunolu David Babarinde is an academic with a PhD in Management Science. He is teaching and researching in the field of Work, Employment/Human Resources Management and Organisation Studies. In 2017 and 2018, he served as the convener for the PhD Group of the British Universities Industrial Relations Association. He is a member of the Faculty Advisory Committee in the School of Business, University of Central Lancashire where is currently employed as a Senior Lecturer. As part of his community and society engagements, Dr Babarinde frequently offers public commentaries and expert opinions on issues that are germane to the development and prosperity of the society. He is currently serving as a member of Board of Trustees for a number of organisations in Nigeria and in the United Kingdom. Dr Babarinde is passionate and actively committed to mentoring and supporting individuals who are early career academics and those who are just considering pursing a career in academia.
Engr. Kolawole Ladeji
Dr. Temidayo Popoola
Dr. Temidayo Popoola is a Mechanical Project Engineer specializing in Building Services and infrastructure projects, as well as a seasoned entrepreneur. He recently completed an MSc in Business Data Analytics at Bangor University, where he applied data-driven insights to enhance engineering and project management. With strong leadership experience, he has led design and construction teams on large-scale projects such as the Dangote Refinery, managing work packages, procurement, and commissioning. He collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to improve efficiency, cost control, and safety. Aligned with ATL’s mission, he combines technical expertise with strategic leadership to drive innovation and sustainability in engineering, infrastructure, and business. Passionate about community impact, he mentors young professionals and contributes to projects that promote sustainable development and equitable access to engineering solutions.
